With 20 years of experience as a communications and marketing generalist, Taïssa has worked as a consultant since October 2013, on short-term assignments involving strategic planning, sponsorships, internal communications, issues management and advertising.
Over the course of her career, she has developed and implemented strategies, plans and campaigns in integrated communications, brand image management, public relations, sponsorships and marketing in real estate, telecommunications, air transportation and, more recently, engineering and construction, where she was responsible for planning and implementing internal communications programs on a global scale (34,000+ employees) and designing and delivering projects for the CEO and internal clients.
In August 2014, Taïssa travelled to Moshi, Tanzania, as mission head for PRWB to support the Tanzania Union of Parents Secondary Schools (TUPSS), a network of 14 secondary schools with a student body of 10,000, which pools its resources to improve learning conditions.
Taïssa is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and has served on the board of IABC/Montréal as vice-chair, marketing, since June 2014. She is also a member of PRWB’s Communications Committee.
She completed a B.Sc. at HEC Montréal, and a certificate in communications and advertising at Concordia University. She is currently preparing to obtain certification as a Project Management Professional.
