After a long stay in Mexico, where she learned Spanish, she started her career as projects director for BioQuébec, the Quebec’s Bio-Industries Network. She directed several sector specific trade missions abroad. Furthermore, she managed strategic communications in relation with the first Biotechnologies Summit.
More recently, as an independent contractor, Isabelle produced special sections on innovation. These were distributed in La Presse newspaper. With her ability to distill complex issues into simple terms, she raised public awareness about research and its impact on our economical development.
She is currently in charge of communications for the Sisters of the Holy Names Congregation, a religious community based on three continents. She orchestrates the upgrading of two key elements for the continuity of many charitable works: the communication tools and the volunteers’ recruitment strategy.
