Having completed first and second cycle studies in political science at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM), Luc Doray went on to obtain an MBA (Finance) from the École des Hautes études commerciales (HEC) of the Université de Montréal. He is actually studying to obtain an MBA degree (Management of cities and metropolises) at the École des sciences de la gestion (ÉSG) of the UQÀM.
As an employee of the City of Montréal for more than 25 years, he acted as general coordinator of the Third Summit of the World’s Major Cities, held in Montréal in 1991, and of the Northern Inter-Cities Conference in January 1992. Mr. Doray was jointly responsible for the secretariat coordinating the role of cities at the Earth Summit, within the directorate of external relations and protocol of the Rio de Janeiro Mayor’s Office in 1992. He also worked, over a four-year period, as chief of staff for Québec Government ministers.
Mr. Doray has been a member of the management team of the Office de consultation publique de Montréal since its inception in 2002, and has served as its Secretary General since 2006.
