Andréan Gagné is a specialist in corporate communications and public affairs. She has more than 15 years’ experience in guiding organizations in their strategic positioning activities, in order to increase their visibility and manage their reputation. She is particularly skilled in internal, external and financial communications. A seasoned communicator in times of issue or crisis management, Andréan has served as spokesperson on numerous occasions. She also has significant experience in project management, strategic planning, media relations and event planning.
Andréan is currently Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Transat, a leading player in leisure travel, known as the airline carrier under the Air Transat brand. Prior to joining Transat in 2022, Ms. Gagné spent more than a decade in consulting services for world-renowned firms, where she worked in a wide range of sectors (health, energy, real estate, transportation, etc.). Among other achievements, she has participated in the international expansion of local companies, as well as the inauguration of major projects in the Canadian market.
Andréan Gagné is a member of the Assembly of the Conseil du Statut de la femme du Québec since 2018. She is also a member of Les Communicateurs du Vogue – a group of communications managers from major corporations, government entities and organizations. From 2016 to 2018, she was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Regroupement de Jeunes Chambres de commerce du Québec. She previously held the role of secretary on the Board of Directors of the non-profit organization Famijeunes.
Andréan holds a master’s degree in administration and sustainable development from the Université de Sherbrooke and the Tours École supérieure de commerce et de management in France. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from UQAM.
