He received the Prix Or, Campagne globale, of the Prix Excellence of the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP) in 2009, and served as president of the event in 2011. Since that time, Pierre has been responsible for the jury (strategic aspects) of the Québec-wide event, and a member of the jury of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).

Since 2010, he has regularly published articles on various communications issues in the daily newsletter Infopresse.com.

In 2016, the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP) presented him with the prestigious Prix Yves St-Amand for having distinguished himself over the course of his career through his professional activities, his dedication, the sharing of his knowledge and the advancement of the profession to which he contributed.
