Valérie Beauregard
The late and much missed Luc Beauregard, founder of Public Relations Without Borders (PRWB), received the first Hommage award presented by the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques (SQPRP) to recognize his exceptional contribution to the profession and his unique role in the creation and development of PRWB.
On the occasion of the posthumous honour presented during the Gala des prix d’excellence of the SQPRP, on December 10, 2018, in Montréal, Valérie Beauregard, Executive Vice-President of the Groupe conseil RES PUBLICA, the parent company of NATIONAL, underscored how much the honour would have pleased her father. A great builder, and founder of the public relations firm NATIONAL, Mr. Beauregard poured a great deal of devotion and discipline into providing a solid foundation for PRWB.
“Luc was thrilled with the Québec public relations community’s response to the creation of PRWB,” underscored Valérie Beauregard. “Many of you contributed time, talent and money to support the cause. The professionalism of the mission heads, in often challenging conditions, is recognized both by our partners in the field and here in Québec. You have done yourselves and your profession proud.”
“PRWB reflects Luc’s faith in the discipline of public relations itself, continued Ms. Beauregard. He saw the effective use of public relations by local organizations as an important lever to improve the quality of life in developing countries.”
